Hi, my name is Christian Bonilla. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT141913). I work at Sync Counseling Center under the supervision of Curtis Miller, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC31636).
Life can be unpredictable and sometimes our experiences can be quite overwhelming. It’s during these times that we truly appreciate being in the presence of those who understand what we’re going through. As a teenager I suffered a suffered a spinal cord injury and navigated through a number of life changing experiences as a result. During my recovery in the hospital, I saw the hardships and adversities that others battled with. It was absolutely eye opening. I learned how great it is to have someone by your side when life seems too difficult. The sense of safety that they can provide makes a world of difference. I knew then that I wanted to help others in their time of need.
After I graduated high school I attended California State University of Los Angeles and earned a BA in Psychology. I then received a MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. I've practiced in both the high school and private practice setting and have worked with adolescents, adults, families, and couples.
If you find yourself in need of help and want your voice to be heard, please give me a call. You can ask me questions regarding my therapeutic services and see if we’d be a good match.
